Srinagar, Aug. 21 -- Srinagar- The Special Crime Wing (SCW), Kashmir, of the Crime Branch, Jammu and Kashmir, on Friday conducted a search at a residential premises in Safakadal here in connection with a case involving alleged submission of forged documents for appointment in the J&K Police Department, officials said.

The search was carried out at the residence of Special Grade Constable Manzoor Ahmad Najar pursuant to a warrant issued by the Special Mobile Magistrate (PT&E), Srinagar, they said.

The case, registered as FIR No. 10/2026, pertains to allegations of forgery of documents relating to date of birth and educational qualifications in connection with an appointment in the J&K Police Department.
