Srinagar, Sept. 29 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly witnessed a sharp debate over communications reportedly sent by Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo and Law Secretary Achal Sethi to the Assembly Secretariat regarding the resolution seeking restoration of statehood.

The officials reportedly argued that the resolution was sub judice and should not be taken up in the House, according to reports.

The intervention came after Chief Minister Omar Abdullah moved the resolution, which was subsequently admitted by the Assembly.
