Srinagar, May 18 -- Srinagar- The Food Safety Department Srinagar on Monday conducted an extensive inspection drive across several city areas, including Karanagar, Kanikadal, Fateh Kadal, Gojwara and Hawal, to ensure strict compliance with the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act and allied regulations.

The inspection was carried out by a team of the department under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Food Safety Srinagar, Yameen-ul-Nabi.

During the drive, officials inspected various food business establishments and bakery units to assess hygiene standards, storage practices and overall compliance with food safety norms.
