Srinagar, July 24 -- Srinagar- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday assured all possible support to the family of Head Constable Ashiq Hussain, who was killed in a terror attack in Anantnag earlier this week, during a phone conversation with the slain policeman's son.

The assurance came as Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Sunil Sharma, visited the family of the slain policeman at Lolipora in Beerwah area of Budgam district to express condolences.

Speaking to reporters after meeting the bereaved family, Sharma said the Home Minister spoke to Hussain's son over the phone and conveyed his heartfelt condolences.
