Srinagar, Sept. 15 -- Srinagar- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), J&K, has registered an FIR against a former Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), Jammu, and four private beneficiaries over alleged illegal permissions for the transfer of Gair Mumkin Khad land in Jammu.

According to an ACB spokesperson, FIR No. 12/2026 has been registered at Police Station ACB Central, Jammu, against Nisar Ahmad Shad, the then Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), Jammu, and four private individuals.

The case follows the outcome of Preliminary Enquiry No. PE-JSK-17/2019, which prima facie found that the accused public servant allegedly abused his official position while serving as ACR Jammu between May 23 and July 11, 2018.
