Srinagar, Aug. 13 -- Director MeT, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad said that generally cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely at many places. In Kashmir, a few places may receive moderate rain, with brief intense showers and gusty winds in the next two days. "On August 16, generally hot and humid weather is expected, with the possibility of brief showers at a few places," Dr Ahmad added.

He said heavy to very heavy showers could occur at isolated to scattered locations in Jammu division - particularly in Reasi, Udhampur, Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Doda and Rajouri - mainly during the night and early morning hours till August 15.
