Srinagar, July 6 -- Srinagar- The Counter Intelligence wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday carried out simultaneous searches in Jammu and Noida in connection with the alleged glorification of separatist figures in two controversial books supplied for government school libraries, officials said.

A Counter Intelligence team raided the headquarters of Samagra Shiksha at Channi Himmat on the outskirts of Jammu and questioned the Project Director and other officials as part of the ongoing investigation.

Another team simultaneously searched the office of a publisher in Noida, officials said, adding that the raids were continuing when reports last came in.
