Srinagar, May 30 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir High Court has raised serious concerns over what it described as a glaring procedural lapse in a 2019 arms smuggling case, observing that the First Information Report (FIR) appeared to have been registered before the alleged offence was detected.

The observations came during the hearing of a bail plea filed by truck driver Sabeel Ahmad Baba, who was arrested in September 2019 in connection with the recovery of arms and ammunition from a vehicle at Lakhanpur in Kathua district.
