BARAMULLA, Aug. 20 -- To review the status and implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Urban (PMAY-U) and Gramin (PMAY-G) in the district, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa chaired a meeting here, today.
During the meeting, DC emphasised on timely geo-tagging of assets, release of installments, and monitoring of construction works under the scheme. He directed the officers to ensure strict action against beneficiaries who have availed the first installment but failed to start construction, adding that recovery proceedings must be initiated in such cases.
