New Delhi, Aug. 9 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the arrival of the first freight train in the Kashmir Valley, calling it a major step in linking the region to India's freight network. Responding to a post by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Modi said the move will drive progress and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.The Prime Minister posted on X; "Great day for commerce and connectivity in Jammu and Kashmir! It will enhance both progress and prosperity."
