SRINAGAR, June 14 -- In a significant step toward accelerating grassroots development in Jammu & Kashmir, Hussain Sahib, Head of the Nalwala Foundation, recently held high-level discussions with two of the region's most prominent leaders - Dr Farooq Abdullah, Member of Parliament, and the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah.

During his meeting with Dr Abdullah in Srinagar, Hussain presented the Foundation's strategic plan to install tubewells in remote villages of Baramulla, Bandipora, and Kupwara districts, where communities face an acute shortage of clean drinking water. Dr Abdullah expressed strong support for the initiative and assured facilitation of government land allocation to enable timely implementation.
