Srinagar, May 7 -- Divisional Commissioner Kashmir said that the ongoing "Nasha Mukt Abhiyan" has witnessed a massive people's movement across Kashmir over the last 25 days, reflecting strong public support against drug abuse.

According to a post shared by the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir on X, a total of 58,533 awareness programmes have been conducted during the campaign, with participation of more than 51 lakh citizens across the Valley.

The post further stated that 1,752 youth clubs have been activated as part of the anti-drug initiative, while 928 anti-drug sermons were delivered in mosques and other religious institutions to spread awareness about the harmful effects of narcotics.
