PULWAMA, Aug. 6 -- Kakapora Police in collaboration with the Food Safety Department disposed of approximately 350 kilograms of rotten and unregulated meat at Lelhara, Kakapora.
The meat was recovered earlier near Pampore Highway and was found to be unfit for human consumption. Authorities took immediate steps to safely dispose of the contaminated stock to prevent any public health risk.
An investigation has been initiated to trace the source of the meat. Locals have been urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious food-related activities in their areas.
