GANDERBAL, Aug. 12 -- The Department of Botany, Government Degree College Ganderbal, on Tuesday organised a mega Flower Show in connection with the 79th Independence Day celebrations.
Titled as "fusion of nature's colours and nation's pride", the event, held at picturesque Botanical Garden along the banks of river Sindh, showcased flower stalls that included the world famous Japanese Oshibana and Ikebana Arts along with cut flowers, dried flower arrangements, floral accessories, herbarium, floral resin art and floaters, among others. A big attraction was Bonsai Art that included a 35 year old ornamental pomegranate and a 20 year old pagoda tree.
