SRINAGAR, Aug. 8 -- District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Srinagar, organized a comprehensive legal awareness programme at MPML Higher Secondary School Bagh-e-Dilawar Khan, Srinagar.

This initiative aimed to sensitize students about the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the menace of drug abuse, and the crucial role of legal services institutions including Legal Aid Defence Counsel (LADC) and Legal Aid Clinics.

The programme was held under the chairmanship of Tasleem Arief, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar, and conducted under the supervision of Sajad Ur Rehman, Sub-Judge and Secretary, DLSA Srinagar.
