Srinagar, May 7 -- Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg on Thursday chaired a high-level meeting to review and finalize arrangements for the smooth and peaceful celebration of Eid-ul-Adha across the Kashmir Valley.

During the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner directed officers of KPDCL to ensure uninterrupted power supply at major religious shrines including Hazratbal Shrine, Kalashpora, Jenab Sahab Soura, Ziyarat Sharief Kabamarg, Khiram in Anantnag, Ziyarat Sharief Makhama and Aham-i-Sharief in Bandipora.

He also instructed the concerned departments to ensure adequate and uninterrupted supply of potable drinking water and address water-related issues on priority during the festival days.
