SRINAGAR, Aug. 23 -- Chairperson of Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi today laid the foundation stone for the Administrative Block of Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board at Sonwar Srinagar.

She was accompanied by Tehsildar of the Board Ishtiyaq Mohiuddin. Speaking on the occasion, the Waqf Chairperson said that development is synonymous with the Waqf Board now.

"The infrastructural boost has changed the face of Waqf Board managed shrines and while on one hand, the upgradation works at all shrines are on, we have built proper office spaces too. The foundation laying of the Administrative Block of the Central Office of the Board will fulfill the needs of the Board ", said Darakhshan.
