GANDERBAL, Aug. 30 -- Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, today chaired a meeting at the VC Room to review and finalize the arrangements for the upcoming Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) celebrations and Friday following in the district.

The DC held a comprehensive review of arrangements related to sanitation, water and power supply, security, traffic management, market regulation, and availability of essential commodities including food grains and poultry.

He emphasized the need for a special sanitation drive around shrines and congregation sites, adequate transport and traffic management, deployment of fire tenders, and repair of defunct streetlights ahead of the festivities.
