Srinagar, April 14 -- Inspector General of Police Kashmir, V.K. Birdi, on Tuesday said that the anti-drug campaign in the Valley will witness intensified enforcement in the coming days, with a sharper focus on dismantling narcotics networks.
Interacting with media , IGP extended warm wishes to the Sikh community and reaffirmed the police's commitment towards maintaining peace and social harmony.
He said that Jammu and Kashmir Police has been actively pursuing a mission-mode approach against drug abuse and will now step up operations to target peddlers, smugglers and all those involved in the illegal trade.
