Srinagar, Sept. 16 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday chaired a meeting to review network coverage and extension of telecom services across Jammu and Kashmir.
Omar stressed the need for stronger connectivity to bridge communication gaps, particularly in underserved and remote areas.
He underlined that improved telecom infrastructure is vital for governance, emergency response, education, and economic growth, and directed officials to ensure expansion of services at the earliest.
