Srinagar, May 13 -- Lieutenant Governor of Jammu Kashmir Manoj Sinha has decided to reduce the size of his official convoy by half following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal for austerity and fuel-saving measures, officials at Lok Bhavan said on Tuesday.According to officials, the decision was taken in line with the Prime Minister's emphasis on economical use of resources, reduction in unnecessary expenditure and promotion of sustainable practices in official functioning.Sources said the Lieutenant Governor's convoy during official movements and visits across Jammu and Kashmir will now comprise significantly fewer vehicles while ensuring that all essential security arrangements and established protocols remain fully intact.Officials ...
