Nigeria, March 28 -- The Kwara State Fire Service has successfully contained an early-morning fire outbreak at Danialu Alapata Compound, off Gaa Akabi Area in Ilorin, preventing extensive damage to the building and nearby properties.

According to a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Service, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, the incident occurred on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at about 2:11 a.m., when firefighters responded to a distress call reporting a fire in a bungalow comprising six rooms.
