Nigeria, Dec. 11 -- The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has announced the process for the recruitment of 50,000 personnel into the force to strengthen the nation's security, following the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
A statement by the Head of Protocol and Public Affairs, Torty Njoku Kalu, said the recruitment, aimed at strengthening community policing, enhancing internal security and expanding the manpower base of the Nigeria Police Force, will be open to eligible holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO or their equivalents with a minimum of five (5) credits (including English Language and Mathematics) in not more than two sittings to be recruited into general duty.
