Nigeria, Aug. 18 -- The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Kaduna State University (KASU) chapter, says more than 200 lecturers have left the institution over poor working conditions and the failure to implement the 2025 agreement reached between the Federal Government and the union.
Abubakar Abdullahi, ASUU-KASU chairman, disclosed this on Monday at a press conference in Kaduna, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Abdullahi said the lecturers who departed the university included professors, with many securing appointments at newer universities within and outside Kaduna State.
The development comes amid concerns over the implementation of the renegotiated agreement between the Federal Government and ASUU.
