Nigeria, Sept. 22 -- The Management of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, has approved the expulsion of 42 students from the institution over their involvement in examination malpractice.

A statement issued and signed by the Principal Assistant Registrar, Academic Board Matters Division, Mr. Ibrahim Esin, disclosed that after a thorough investigation by the Polytechnic Examination Malpractice Committee, the affected students were found guilty of the allegations levelled against them, which were contrary to the Matriculation Oath they swore to.
