Nigeria, May 9 -- Members of the Kwara South Jowuros have commended the MOK Foundation for distributing farm inputs to farmers across communities in the senatorial district, describing the initiative as a major boost to agricultural activities ahead of the planting season.
The commendation was made during a radio programme where representatives of the Fulani traditional titleholders spoke on the impact of the intervention on rural farmers in the area.
According to the group, the distribution of fertilisers, improved seedlings and agrochemicals would ease the burden on smallholder farmers who have struggled with the rising cost of farm inputs in recent years.
