India, Aug. 25 -- Landlords and residents of four communities in Okoerin ward of Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara have raised their voices against the establishment of hotels and alcohol joints in the area.

The communities affected include Ifesowapo, Alalubarika, Osere, and Okoerin. Alhaji Abdulwahab Opeloyeru, chairman of Ifesowapo community and spokesperson for the concerned residents, shared their stance during a recent interview.

According to Opeloyeru, the community's opposition stems from a security meeting convened to address the ongoing construction of a hotel in the densely populated region.
