Nigeria, Dec. 29 -- The Informant247 has felicitated one of its former journalists, Nurudeen Akewushola, on the occasion of his wedding to Princess Shifau Lawal of Ipe town in Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Akewushola, who is now a senior investigative journalist and fact-checker with the International Centre for Investigative Reporting (ICIR), walked down the aisle with his beloved wife, Shifau, on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

The wedding was held in three phases, starting with the Nikkah, an Islamic ceremony conducted privately at the bride's family home.
