Nigeria, Aug. 10 -- The Independent National Electoral Commission has commenced the distribution of media accreditation tags to journalists and media organisations covering the forthcoming Osun State governorship election.

The exercise began on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the Nigeria Union of Journalists Secretariat along Old Ede Road, Osogbo.

In a statement, the commission said the distribution would continue from Tuesday, August 11, to Thursday, August 13, between 9am and 4pm daily at the same venue.

INEC advised media organisations that successfully completed the accreditation process to collect their tags within the stipulated period.
