Nigeria, Sept. 11 -- The Delta State Government has introduced a new directive aimed at promoting a professional appearance among public servants, banning bushy beards, artificial braided or dyed hair, long eyelashes, fake nails, and other forms of what it describes as "indecent appearance."
The announcement was made via a circular from the Office of the Head of Service, emphasizing that all public servants must now adhere to a neat, professional, and modest dress standard that reflects their positions within the civil service.
