Nigeria, Oct. 1 -- Ahmadu Fintiri, the Adamawa State Governor, on Wednesday, granted pardon to six prison inmates serving various prison sentences in some correctional facilities in the state to commemorate this year's Independence celebration.

Fintiri, in a statement on Wednesday, said the inmates had demonstrated significant improvement in their behaviour and conduct.
