Nigeria, Aug. 24 -- The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed its unwavering confidence that President Bola Tinubu will triumph in the 2027 elections, regardless of who is appointed as the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In an interview with The Sun, Ajibola Basiru, the National Secretary of the ruling APC, emphasized that the current INEC chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, is set to conclude his tenure this year, with discussions already taking place regarding his successor.
