Nigeria, Sept. 16 -- The management and staff of The Informant247 mourn the passing of Comrade Abdulrasheed Bolakale Berkindo Soliu, fondly known as CB, who died on Tuesday after a brief illness.

CB was more than a supporter of The Informant247. He was a friend of the newsroom and one of the people who believed deeply in what we set out to build.

Over the years, he became a familiar presence around the newsroom, often engaging our editors and reporters in conversations about journalism, governance and the responsibility of the media to the public. He was genuinely interested in how we could use our platform to promote accountability, advocate good governance and contribute to meaningful conversations about the country.
