Nigeria, Aug. 8 -- Fuji music legend Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, widely known as K1 De Ultimate, has issued an apology regarding an incident at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on August 5, 2025.

In a statement released on Friday, the renowned singer expressed regret over the situation while clarifying that his flask contained only water, countering allegations of alcohol use.

"The incident that occurred at the local wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport was, to say the least, unfortunate," K1 stated.

He further explained that he suffers from chronic dehydration and has been advised by his doctor to remain hydrated, which is why he carries a water flask with him.
