Dhaka, Oct. 13 -- Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus received a warm reception upon his arrival at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations on Monday.
FAO Director General Qu Dongyu greeted him at the entrance of the FAO headquarters, Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder told UNB.
Prof Yunus is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the grand opening of the World Food Forum (WFF) after 6pm Bangladesh Standard Time.
Following his speech, he will visit the Offices of the Global Alliance, Azad said.
Later in the day, Prof Yunus will hold meetings with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, the Mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri, and the Prime Minister of Djibo...
