Dhaka, April 6 -- The Country Director of the World Bank, Mr Jean Pesme, along with a senior management team from the World Bank Bangladesh office, visited the 6.05 MWp rooftop solar project of GPH Ispat Ltd on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

The project, one of the largest rooftop solar installations in Bangladesh's industrial sector, has been financed by Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL).

The visiting delegation was accompanied by Mr Alamgir Morshed, Executive Director and CEO of IDCOL, and Mr Md Enamul Karim Pavel, Head of Renewable Energy at IDCOL, along with other senior officials.
