Dhaka, Nov. 9 -- Bangladeshi electronics giant Walton has accomplished another milestone in its export business in the latest move of its global presence, since it started exporting locally made power cables to Maldives upon receiving the approval certificate from Male Utility Regulatory Authority.

Walton Cables' Product Manager Md. Hasibul Haque said that a certificate of approval from the Utility Regulatory Authority is mandatory for using power cables in electrical installation in Maldives, according to a media release

The regulatory body gives the approval when the products meet the international standards.
