Dhaka, March 8 -- Analysts all over Europe and North America have been very carefully following the absence of a desired solution pertaining to sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The absence of understanding between Russia and Ukraine has gained momentum after the world witnessed the nonexistence of consensus regarding peace in Ukraine.

In this context one has to refer to the result of the General Assembly vote on the draft resolution "Support for lasting peace in Ukraine" adopted during the emergency special session held on February 24, 2026.
