Bangladesh, Oct. 21 -- Airport Armed Police Battalion (APBn-13) has recovered three stolen luggage bags worth around Tk 75,000 and arrested the accused from Kachua in Chandpur.

Superintendent of Police (Operations) of APBn-13 Mohammad Nazir Ahmed Khan said the bags belonged to three passengers who arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a US-Bangla Airlines flight from Oman on October 12, reports BSS.

Following a complaint from airline official Fazle Rabbi Moghol, police analysed CCTV footage and identified a passenger named Jasim as a suspect in the theft.

The airline official later filed a case against Jasim with Airport Police Station under Section 380 of the Penal Code.
