Dhaka, Aug. 14 -- Three people have died and seven others have been injured in a head-on collision between two buses in Faridpur Sadar Upazila.
The accident occurred around 12:30pm on Thursday on the Dhaka-Khulna Highway in the Upazila's Kanaipur, according to local highway police outpost chief Salauddin.
The deceased have been identified as Atiar Sheikh from Chuadanga, Ranjit Chandra Das from Barguna, and Subarna Begum from Rangpur, reports bdnews24.com.
The seven injured individuals are receiving treatment at Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
