Dhaka, Oct. 16 -- A teenage girl was killed in a road accident in the Pakutia Khanpara area under Nagarpur upazila of the district on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Naureen Akhter, 15, daughter of Sohel Mia of Panchtarail village in Pakutia union. She was a Class 10 student of Pakutia Brindaban Radha Govinda High School.

The accident occurred when a bus of 'SB Link Paribahan' ran over her leaving her dead on the spot said Rafiqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nagarpur Police Station, reports UNB.

The body will be handed over to her family members after completion of legal procedures, OC added.
