Bangladesh, Aug. 8 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has urged members of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) to remain cautious that political involvement does not disrupt their professional duties.

According to him, political awareness among students and professionals is not unreasonable in a democracy, since political decisions shape nearly everything, reports bdnews24.com.

"But it's most important that political involvement doesn't disrupt, or become a cause of disruption to, one's professional duties," he said at DAB's 37th founding anniversary event at the parliament's LD Hall grounds on Saturday.
