Bangladesh, Aug. 7 -- At least six people have been killed after a passenger bus veered off the road and ran over labourers waiting for work in Bogura.

Another 15 people have been injured.

The crash occurred around 5:30am on Friday on the Bogura-Naogaon Highway near Silkibandha of Erulia.

The injured have been taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogura.

Bogura Sadar Police chief Ibrahim Ali said the passenger bus, Shah Fateh Ali Paribahan, travelling from Dhaka to Naogaon, lost control and slammed into an electric pole before ploughing into a group of labourers standing beside the road in search of work.
