Bangladesh, Aug. 11 -- The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police cordoned off a four-storey building in Savar's Shyampur area on Tuesday evening.

Advertisement The team recovered several cocktails and bomb-making materials from the scene.

Locals said CTTC members took position in front of the building and surrounded it after 7pm.

Speaking to the media after the raid, Savar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saiful Alam said the operation at the Shyampur house was launched by the CTTC and DMP's bomb disposal unit following a tip-off and information provided by a person previously arrested in Hemayetpur.
