Dhaka, March 23 -- Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted that rainfall is likely to increase in the next five days since 9am on Monday.
"Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions," said a regular bulletin of Met office.
Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, reports UNB.
Day temperature may rise by 1-2degC and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
A trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
