Dhaka, Aug. 29 -- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places in the country over the next 24 hours, beginning at 9:00 am.

"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country," said a BMD bulletin this morning.
