Bangladesh, Oct. 6 -- Bangladesh Bank (BB) today said digital transaction services of some banks, including card, ATM and National Payment Switch Bangladesh (NPSB)-related services, have been disrupted due to technological upgrading, system migration and maintenance of the Q-Cash network.

The disruption began at around 9:00pm on October 4, 2026, BSS reports citing a press release issued by the central bank's Department of Communications and Publications.

The Q-Cash network is operated by IT Consultants PLC.

Bangladesh Bank said it has taken necessary measures to protect customers' interests and ensure the normal flow of financial transactions amid the disruption.
