Project launched to drive supply chain traceability, decarbonisation in RMG sector
Bangladesh, Oct. 5 -- Bangladesh's ready-made garment (RMG) industry is facing a crucial transformation due to shifting global trade norms that demand complete supply chain transparency, circularity and decarbonisation.
Industry leaders called for a unified data platform and shared responsibility, mostly costs burden to meet strict European Union ESG and traceability rules.
The observations and demands were made at a project launching event held on Monday in a city hotel.
