Dhaka, April 13 -- A petition has been submitted to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), seeking an inquiry into alleged embezzlement, irregularities, and corruption in the procurement of vaccines and syringes for children, particularly those related to measles and other diseases, during the interim government period.

The application was filed on Monday by Supreme Court lawyer Biplob Kumar Das, UNB reports.

According to the petition, the recent surge in measles infections across the country, which reportedly led to the deaths of around a hundred children, has caused deep concern among citizens.
