Dhaka, Feb. 12 -- Voting was proceeding peacefully at several polling centres in the capital on Thursday, with satisfactory voter turnout reported in the morning hours.
During visits to different centres, FE reporters found balloting under way in an orderly manner. At Centre-14 at Pallabi Government College under Dhaka-16, polling was continuing without disruption, with a good number of voters seen casting their ballots.
Similarly, at Tejgaon Government Girls' High School under Dhaka-12, voting was also going on peacefully, with voters turning up steadily.
Polling officials said voting began on time and no untoward incidents were reported at the centres visited.
